Build Northline Press with ASP.NET Core Razor Pages, Bootstrap 5, hand-wired cookie auth, EF Core, owned post CRUD, search, password recovery, and Azure Container Apps deployment.
How this project works
Northline Press is an original teaching blog in twelve complete snapshots. Clone once and run any numbered folder without rebuilding earlier stages.
The path starts with minimal ASP.NET hosting, adds Razor Pages and Bootstrap, then introduces isolated Postgres databases. Later parts add cookie auth, media, ownership, pagination, search, reset tokens, and Azure deploy notes.
Snapshots 4–12 seed [email protected] and [email protected] with password123.
Local Postgres runs through Docker Compose on host port 5436 with databases northline_01–northline_12.
